What to Expect

THE BLOCK PARTY - WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 29TH FROM 6:30 - 8:30 PM

So you're thinking about coming to THE Block Party, but maybe you've never even set foot in First Baptist Church Richmond Hill and you're not sure what to expect.  Is this church pretending to throw a party, when really they just want an excuse to get your address, visit you at dinnertime, and hand out literature?

NO!  FBC is throwing a party for the community because we love our town and want to be relevant to families.  We had around 1,000 people at our party last year, and we're working to make it even better.  And hey, if you happen to see people having a great time, showing love and kindness,  making you feel welcome, and enjoying themselves, we can't help that!  You're going to have to deal with it.

If you have questions or would like to know more about our awesome God or our anything about our church, we'll be - as always - available to you and glad to visit you.  But that's not the end goal of THE Block Party.  We're here to love.  Where it goes from there is up to you.

SO WILL THE PARTY BE WORTH YOUR EFFORT?  After all we're talking about a school night, right?  Yes.  You are worth our effort, so we're working to make this event worth your time.  (And FYI, the only reason we didn't do this on Halloween night, October 31st like last year is that it falls on a Friday night this year, and it's football season here in the Deep South.)

Remember, it's not just any party ... it's THE Block Party!
