http://www.richmondhill.org/connections/ en-us Copyright 2008 Mon, 16 Jun 2008 12:30:00 +0000 http://www.sixapart.com/movabletype/ http://www.rssboard.org/rss-specification Hey, I wanted to share some of the impact that C-group has had in me personally.  First and foremost I'd like to encourage others to seek out a group near them and step forward into an incredible opportunity to grow with confidence, with trust, in wisdom, in love, and in the arms of others that .... well, are human just like us.  You get to know people who make mistakes, struggle, and have conflict just as we do.  Through Gods will, we discover the intimacy of true friends and gain the unity this group was designed to have.  In our weekly meetings and prayer mails, we learn to step a little lighter, fall a little softer and get back up a little quicker.  We remember with the presence of our C-group family, that we are human and that we are forgiven; we must rise every day in His love.

The experience has been priceless!  We have both been so blessed by being a part of this wonderful group.  I would not have dreamed that it would have been as great as it has been.  In such a short time, we have become very connected to the point that they feel like an extension of our family.  We look forward to being with the group each week.  I have missed only one night, and to my surprise and delight my husband went off excitedly to join the group without me.  Sharing our needs, prayer requests and praises has been such a blessing.  I am looking forward to the next 18 months with all the new friends (family) that we have made.  This group of brothers and sisters are certainly a gift from God.  I am praising God for the opportunity to be a part of our C-group.
