Preschool Ministries
Welcome to Preschool Ministries! We are the part of the body of First Baptist Church Richmond Hill that gets to care for babies through kindergarteners. On Sunday morning we have Sunday School for preschoolers at 8:15, 9:30, and 11:00. Our teachers share age-appropriate, fun Bible lessons with the children by using stories, art, and good-old play. On any given Sunday, you may walk by a classroom and see children playing with Play Doh, glitter, glue, or musical instruments. Don't be fooled! Preschoolers learn through their play, so that's how we teach them.
We also provide loving care during the Sunday evening service at 6:00 p.m. and on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. for those two years old and younger. (3's and up go to our AWANA "Cubbies" classes!) We take great precautions to make sure that children are safe in our care. All of our volunteers who work with children are security screened. We also use security tags any time preschoolers are left in our care to make certain that children are matched up with the correct adults when it's time to leave. Our security tags also give us a way to contact parents if we need them for any reason. We want parents and guardians to feel secure about the care their children are receiving.
