When do we meet?
We meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, September through May, from 9:30 AM to noon. We also have some evening events and weekday play dates planned.

**Please note we will NOT be meeting on December 20 or January 3. 

We look forward to a new year and new beginnings. Please help us make our MOPS environment comfortable by noting and observing a few basic guidelines:

  • While we realize that many moms run businesses from their homes, we’d like to keep our time at MOPS meetings and play dates free from advertisement. We don’t want any moms to feel pressured into making purchases or otherwise supporting anyone’s business. At MOPS, we’re about friendship, fun, and fellowship. Please leave your catalogs and business items at home during meetings. Instead, consider placing a business-card sized ad in the monthly newsletter. Please see Saralynn Nege (saralynnNG@hotmail.com or 619-922-8629) about this option.
  • We welcome all women who have children who are pre-school age or who are expecting new babies. We understand that some moms may have both pre-school and school-age children, and those moms are welcome, too! However, we cannot provide childcare for children who are 6 years old and above. If you homeschool your older children and do not have an alternative for childcare, we would be happy to help you look for a private babysitter. Please let us know.
  • If you do not plan to register your child or children in MOPPETS, if they are in Pre-K or any other program and will not be attending MOPS with you, you are welcome to still register and join us.
To cover the cost of supplies and childcare, we are asking each mom to pay a tuition of $40 for the fall semester (September to December) and $60 for the spring semester (January to May). This will be prorated if you come in during the semester. In addition, each mom is expected to pay the annual MOPS International membership fee of $23.95. When you register, you’ll receive a packet of goodies in the mail from MOPS Int’l. If you are under financial constraints, please feel free to ask about our partial scholarships available.
