Seeking part time Childcare Professionals - not First Christian Academy
Preschool Ministries is currently looking for people interested in paid childcare positions.Hours
The hours include EITHER Sunday evenings OR Wednesday evenings, as well as alternating other church events with the rest of the paid childcare staff.
Qualifications
While this job does entail taking care of children, this is more than babysitting. Our paid childcare staff is a branch of Preschool Ministries, and we want to shower the children in our care with God's love. We actively engage with the children, leading them in fun activities that fuel their imaginations and ultimately teach them about God. For these reasons and more, we have the following qualifications for the job:
- Be an active member of 1st Baptist Church Richmond Hill, regularly attending either a Sunday School class or a Community Group. (We can't spiritually feed children if we are starving ourselves.)
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Have at least a year's experience working with children in a "ministry" setting or have excellent personal experience with children that can be verified.
- Excellent references for character and skill with children.
