Seeking people for part time paid childcare positions
Preschool Ministries has a small staff of paid childcare professionals who care for our preschoolers on Sunday evenings, Wednesday evenings and for any events requiring childcare such a Bible studies, visitation, etc.Qualifications
While this job does entail taking care of children, this is more than babysitting. Our paid childcare staff is a branch of Preschool Ministries and we want to shower the children in our care God's love. We actively engage with the children, leading them in fun activities that fuel their imaginations and ultimately teach them about God. For these reasons and more, we have the following qualifications for the job:
- Be an active member of First Baptist Church Richmond Hill, regularly attending either Sunday School or a Community Group. (We can't spiritually feed children if we are starving ourselves.)
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have at least 1 year's experience working with children in a "ministry" setting or have excellent personal experience with children that can be verified.
- Excellent references for character and skill with children.
