Substitute teachers
Preschool Sunday School - which includes infants up through kindergarten classes - needs a good, healthy pool of substitutes. We have more than 40 volunteers on any given Sunday morning, and stuff happens! People take vacations, get sick, and sometimes just need a morning off. A good, healthy pool of substitutes who know what is expected and are equipped to do the job makes for a good healthy Sunday School. That's what we want!Qualifications
- Child Protection Policy compliant. (This means the person has successfully completed our church's screening policy for working with children.)
- Willing to get familiar with our Preschool Ministries Policies (soon to be available on the website.)

During the class time, substitute teachers and helpers need to cover the following activities:

- Cafts and/or activities (provided)
- Snack
- Playtime (playground or gym, depending on the weather)
- Mark attendance
- Match up children's security tags with parent's pick-up stub for each child. (If no tag or a parent can't find it, send to the Help Desk for help. They will find the Preschool Ministries Director or a pastor.)
- If subbing at 11:00, please return Resource Room items to the basket provided and place it outside the Resource Room after the children are picked up.
Don't worry! We will show you how to do all of this!
