12.08 - A Gift
As we approach Christmas our minds are starting to be concerned with gifts. This is not something new. The purchasing of gifts has been part of our culture for many years. The fact is the greatest gift mankind every received was the gift of Jesus. However our world isn't looking for this gift. The world is looking for the trinkets of the world that will bring temporary relief from a world filled with problems. Actually the world is looking for relief in the form of something to believe in (Faith), something to hope for (Hope), and someone to love them (Love). The world does not realize this is contained in one person. I Corinthians 13:13 say it best. God's answer to man's sin is to set forth a plan that will culminate in Jesus.
